A Brief History
Sole Gimnasio Stadium, 29 November 1899. Eleven men from different nationalities attending a meeting. They intend to answer the advertisement Joan Gamper previous month who want to set up a football club in Barcelona. Effect of several figures from the UK to make the club chose the name Foot-Ball Club Barcelona. Red and blue reputedly chosen because Gamper was inspired to use a similar color Swiss club, FC Basel. Then rose club into one of the leading clubs in Spain.

Under the Gamper as president, Barcelona develops. First degree enfolded in 1902 in the Copa Macaya. However, after winning the 1905 Campeonato de Cataluña, Barcelona difficulty degree.
