Japan international midfielder Ryo Miyaichi required to undergo an operation to cure an ankle injury he suffered.
As is known, Miyaichi, 20, on loan to Wigan Arsenal this season, but he will likely step aside until the end of the season after injury found at The Latics meet Everton in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Furthermore, club Miyaichi, Arsenal have confirmed that they will immediately send wonderkid her to undergo surgery.
"Arsenal Football Club can confirm that the Japanese midfielder Ryo Miyaichi will undergo surgery in London on Thursday, March 14," the statement coming from the Gunners.
"Loaned to Wigan Athletic for the season 2012/13, Ryo finds injury to his right ankle in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup final win over Everton last Saturday.
"Having examined by specialists, Ryo will undergo an operation to repair the damage caused.
"Everyone at Arsenal and Wigan Athletic forward Ryo quickly recovered."
